A playground for the Lotus vacant lot: help our neighbors in Manchester
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $2,150 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,150.
It will serve about 313 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $320
• Tools hire and delivery: $420
• Materials: $1,410
