My motorbike: Ravi's only way to earn a living
Without my motorbike Ravi can't work; a $300 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 5 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $300 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $190
• Labor charges: $65
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $15
• Towing and inspection: $30
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
Updates from Ravi
Quick update: $165 raised so far (55%). I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
