Start-up fund for Cesar: reopening a street-food cart after floodwater
Cesar lost a gas stove and two refrigerators to floodwater and needs $900 to reopen a street-food cart and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a street-food cart in Mandaue. In September, floodwater took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $900 goes:
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $610
• Initial stock: ingredients: $100
• Shop repairs and licensing: $110
• Working capital for the first month: $80
Every share and every dollar helps.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Cesar.
Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators is $610 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks, that means a lot.
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care
Hope it all works out, Cesar. Gave what I could, wish it was more
