My son Yared has been accepted for treatment at Jimma University Hospital in Jimma, starting on Wednesday in November. We live 257 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 4 weeks. Two of us would stay: Yared and me. We can contribute $10 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Yared will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

          • Thanks for sharing this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 19 years in nursing I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Greetings from Caloocan.
