Jessore
Sumon has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to Jessore Regional Medical Center alone. After a minor stroke, Sumon can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 30 km each way. Sumon is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I hope life is good to you.

  • So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.

    • Hope things get better soon. Wishing Sumon a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Wish I lived closer to Agra so I could bring a meal. God bless.

      • Wishing you peace, Rakib. Wishing Sumon a smooth procedure and a full recovery. After 26 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

        • Hope the doctors have good news. Wish I lived closer to Grenoble so I could bring a meal. God bless.

          • Take care, Rakib. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
