My father Bambang has been accepted for treatment at Denpasar Transplant Centre in Denpasar, starting on Sunday in October. We live 191 km away in a rural district, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Bambang and me. We can contribute $15 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Bambang will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Thank you for reading my story.

    • hope things get better soon, Fajar. Looking forward to the next update. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Sacramento.

      • Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Lahore this morning. God bless.

        • I hope things turn around soon. After 28 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Tehuacán.
