The electricity account is 2 months behind. Alberto received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless $200 is paid. He had never been late before an unexpected car repair.
Alberto called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a newborn, and going through summer without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Alberto is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
