My family left Syria 11 months ago after the war reached our town. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Alicante. We're a family of eight and we're safe, but we arrived with very little. Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in May. I was a teacher in Syria, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well. We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months. Funds are managed by the Alicante Welcome Table charity, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf. Where the $1,200 goes: • Language classes and bus passes: $320 • Beds, table and basic furniture: $780 • Phone and internet for school and job search: $100 With deep gratitude, Miguel

This helper is honest and transparent about what they can do. They didn't overpromise, but they did deliver excellent results. I would definitely trust them again.
