A fresh start in Adama: help the Rahimi family resettle
The Rahimi family are rebuilding in Adama after leaving Ethiopia; your gift pays for housing basics.

My family left Ethiopia 9 months ago after our home was destroyed. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Adama. We're a family of seven and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in November.
I was a shopkeeper in Ethiopia, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by the Adama Welcome Table charity, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $550 goes:
• Rent deposit and first month: $250
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $165
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $50
• Language classes and bus passes: $35
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $50
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

rooting for you, Wegayehu. It takes guts to ask. Well done. It's not much but it's yours. All the best.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Adama.
Hope it all works out. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 11 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
