A few hours of consumer-debt lawyer time could save Ngozi's home
Looking for a pro bono consumer-debt lawyer in Lagos for a case with a deadline in July.

I'm facing a benefits termination I'm appealing, with a hearing on July. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified consumer-debt lawyer licensed in Lagos who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Lagos or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

So sorry you're going through this. Looking forward to the next update. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Utrecht.
rooting for you, Ngozi. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this, Ngozi. Your post was clear and honest
Take care, Ngozi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Best of luck, Ngozi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Lagos.
