A covered market stall space for the old Cedar bus depot: help our neighbors in Dhaka
A community-led a covered market stall space at the old Cedar bus depot that will serve 369 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 369 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
