Get Silvia back on the road: my food truck repair fund
Silvia's my food truck is Silvia's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $1,400.

I make my living with my food truck. 6 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,400. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $970
• Labor charges: $300
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $90
• Towing and inspection: $40
Every share and every dollar helps.

Take care, Silvia. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We're a small family in Orlando but we're thinking of you.
Good luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
Looking forward to the next update. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Take care!
