Back-to-school fund for Bennett
Bennett won a place at Durham Science Academy but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇺🇸 Durham, North Carolina, United States1,998 views
Bennett earned a place in Year 11 at Durham Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $850, which is more than they have.
Bennett loves mathematics and wants to become a nurse. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $850 goes:
• Laptop: $490
• School uniform and shoes: $105
• Textbooks and workbooks: $165
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $90
Every share and every dollar helps.

Wishing you the best. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. After 15 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care
Thinking of you and your family, Jade. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Durham.
