A community-led a covered market stall space at Unity Park that will serve 256 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Park, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,450.
It will serve about 256 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Materials: $1,650
• Permits and inspections: $230
• Safety equipment and signage: $180
• Tools hire and delivery: $390
With deep gratitude,
Gianna
