Surgery fund for Min-jun: knee replacement surgery in Mapo
A scheduled knee replacement surgery in July is out of reach without help covering $2,150 of the cost.

In April I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee. My surgeon at Mapo General Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for July. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $3,050, and after what our health plan will pay, I'm still $2,150 short.
Doctors at Mapo General Hospital told me osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without knee replacement surgery. I work as a seamstress, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $3,050 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a seamstress have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. I'll not be able to work a full shift during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.

Quick update: $115 raised so far (5%). I met with the hospital and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
