I coordinate donations at the Cedar Primary School in Vancouver. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Vancouver, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Cedar Primary School on Saturday between 9am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Cedar Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thank you so much.

  • Thinking of you and your family, Randall. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.

    • Thinking of you and your family. It takes guts to ask. Well done. It's not much but it's yours. Take care.

      • I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care!
