Could you share an hour a week with Jana?
Jana lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.
🇩🇪 Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany1,224 views
I'm writing for my neighbor Jana, who's 82. Jana lives alone in Nuremberg, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Jana loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Glad we found this place.
