I coordinate donations at the Jacaranda Mosque in Abuja. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Abuja, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Jacaranda Mosque on Tuesday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Jacaranda Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you so much.

Thanks for sharing this. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Best of luck, Yetunde. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Strasbourg
Hope things get better soon. Hope you get there. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
So sorry you're going through this, Yetunde. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 35 people at work. God bless.
