Hala's early-stage lung cancer treatment fund
Hala is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Hala was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in July. The oncology team at Marrakesh Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Hala is 58, worked as a farmer until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Marrakesh Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Household costs while unable to work: $540
• Scans and lab work: $360
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $100
