22 volunteers for the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive in Springfield
Give a few hours to the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇺🇸 Springfield, Illinois, United States987 views
Every year the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive brings together 499 neighbors in Springfield. I help organize it with 7 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Good luck, Clara. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. All the best!
Keep going. More neighborhoods should do this. After 29 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings
hope things get better soon. Hope you get there. After 26 years in accounting I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Take care.
Thinking of you and your family, Clara. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Quezon City.
Thanks for sharing this, Clara. Gave what I could, wish it was more. God bless.
You're not alone, Clara. Great idea, hope you get there. God bless
Sending strength, Clara. This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Houston but we're thinking of you
Praying for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
You're not alone, Clara. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Newport so I could bring a meal. Take care.
