Clear storm damage from Shelly-Ann's garden in Kingston
Garden rescue day in Kingston: bring gloves and a rake.
🇯🇲 Kingston, Kingston, Jamaica1,545 views
I'm 74 and I have lived in this house in Kingston for 34 years. After the storm in October, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending strength. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
I hope things turn around soon. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.

Hope things get better soon, Shelly-Ann. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Essen this morning.
