Every year the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive brings together 430 neighbors in Sylhet. I help organize it with 5 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 3-hour shift
- format
- In person in Sylhet
- skills
- friendly attitude, willingness to help

Take care. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Accra.
