Urvashi needs a stair-climbing aid - help us make it happen
Urvashi needs a stair-climbing aid that the health system won't fund; the cost is $100.

I live with a rare neuromuscular condition. My occupational therapist at the Mangaluru Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
My current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $30
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $45
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
