Woo-jin can't leave home - help build a ramp
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Seoul.
🇰🇷 Seoul, South KoreaPosted Oct 1, 2026507 views
Woo-jin has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Woo-jin can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Woo-jin's family will cook lunch for the team.
