We're short of hands for the Clean Streets Saturday; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 593 neighbors in London. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thinking of you, Jonathan. Your post was clear and honest. My husband and I read this together. All the best.

      • Keep going, Jonathan. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

        • Hang in there, Jonathan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.

          • Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't be hard on yourself for asking!
