I taught chemistry and accounting at Eastgate Middle School, Hồ Chí Minh City. I never turned anyone away.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
More about Việt
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Việt: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me chemistry in 1992 at Eastgate Middle School. I still remember the end-of-term party.
