Upul Gayan Liyanage

18 years teaching political science at Mount Pleasant University

  • 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
  • Mount Pleasant University
  • 2001 to 2025
  • English, Sinhala
I spent 24 years as a lecturer in political science at Mount Pleasant University in Dehiwala. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. Former students now work as a bus driver and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
