Help me finish an accounting degree at San Francisco Polytechnic - $3,650 to go
Asma is two terms away from finishing an accounting degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $3,650.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an accounting degree at San Francisco Polytechnic, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $3,650.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a top-ten-percent average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $230
• Outstanding tuition balance: $3,200
• Exam and lab fees: $220
With deep gratitude,
Asma

good luck. Shared it with a few friends. After 30 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.

It's all in the list in the story. textbooks and materials is the big one at $230, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. I'll keep the page updated.
