Tumusiime Otieno Njoroge
Tailoring for 26 years in Dodoma
- 🇹🇿 Dodoma, Dodoma, Tanzania
- The Dodoma Shop
- 1982 to 2008
- English
I've worked in tailoring from 1982 to 2008. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,270 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I watch every football match going.
More about Tumusiime
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Tumusiime: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
