Tizita Tigist Yilma

Welding for 20 years in Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • The Heritage Workshop
  • 1993 to 2013
  • English
I've worked in welding from 1993 to 2013. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,160 apprentices. The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.

What gifts mean to Tizita: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
