Simiyu Daniel Nabwire

Youth badminton coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Football Club
  • 2006 to 2019
  • English, Swahili
I'm a badminton coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 250 kids fall in love with the game. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.

More about Simiyu

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Simiyu: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
