I taught physics at Hillcrest Primary School in Kathmandu from 2018 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I learned every name in the first week.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Sharmila
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Sharmila: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
