A prosthetic leg for Crystal: help me move freely
Help Crystal get a prosthetic leg so She can speak with the people around her.

I live with an amputation below the knee. My occupational therapist at the Hialeah Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,100.
My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around her. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $5,100 goes:
• prosthetic leg: $4,650
• Fitting and training sessions: $175
• Delivery and set-up: $75
• First-year servicing plan: $200
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
