Mobility fund: adapted tricycle for Rita in Kathmandu
An adapted tricycle would give Rita independence - we're $700 away.

Rita lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Kathmandu Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700.
Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Rita could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $700 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $630
• First-year servicing plan: $35
• Delivery and set-up: $35
Thanks for being kind about this.

rooting for you. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care.
Hope it all works out. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings
sending good thoughts, Anita. Hope this works out for you.
