For eight years I ran the athletics program at Mekelle Boxing Gym in Mekelle. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Senait
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Senait: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
