For 40 years I've run the wrestling program at Addis Ababa St. Joseph's Sports Club in Addis Ababa. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Wegayehu
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Wegayehu: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
