Selamawit Rahel Zerihun
Volunteer mentor with Baobab Youth Network
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Since 1996
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,770 people through Baobab Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm still learning every day.

If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Selamawit: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
