Helping people break into writing
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- Birmingham Community Trust
- 1991 to 2006
- English, Arabic, French
For 15 years I've mentored people in writing and trades. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Sami
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Sami: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
