Sachiko Tamaki Ohno
Coached martial arts for 22 years in Sakai
- 🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan
- Hope Football Club
- Since 2004
- English, Japanese
For 22 years I've run the martial arts program at Hope Football Club in Sakai. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Sachiko: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
