I'm a woodcarving artist based in São Paulo. I've been making things since 1996 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by the changing seasons. I garden badly but happily.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Raquel
I've had 9 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Raquel: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
