Pilar K. Gómez
Youth basketball coach and mentor
- 🇨🇴 Envigado, Antioquia, Colombia
- Envigado Highland Swimming Club
- Since 2001
- English, Spanish
I've coached basketball at Envigado Highland Swimming Club since 2001. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Pilar
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
