Julián K. Contreras
Coached cross country for 32 years in Barranquilla
- 🇨🇴 Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia
- Barranquilla Sports Club
- 1992 to 2024
- Spanish
I coached cross country at Barranquilla Sports Club from 1992 to 2024. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Julián
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
