Palesa H. Nel
Blacksmithing for 20 years in Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Andes Workshop
- Since 2006
- English, Afrikaans, Spanish
I'm a blacksmithing specialist. If you live around Soweto, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Palesa
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Palesa: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
