Nakato Wanjiru Simiyu

Piano and choir direction teacher

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Orchestra
  • Since 1983
  • English
I'm a musician from Dar es Salaam. I've toured a little, taught a lot and played at more weddings than I can count. I teach about 6 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

More about Nakato

I write my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.
