I've worked in painting and decorating from 2014 to 2024. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 330 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 20 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mia
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Mia: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
