Melanie Paula Wolf
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇩🇪 Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
- Essen Shop
- 2002 to 2011
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing from 2002 to 2011. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 250 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Melanie: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
