Lucky Tayo Okonkwo
Painter, potter and teacher at Good Shepherd Art Collective
- 🇳🇬 Ogbomosho, Oyo, Nigeria
- Good Shepherd Art Collective
- 2005 to 2025
- English, Yoruba, Spanish
I work mostly in jewelry, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 2005 at Good Shepherd Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
What gifts mean to Lucky: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
