Lemlem Selam Melaku
Painter, potter and teacher at Andes Print Workshop
- 🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Andes Print Workshop
- 2011 to 2019
- English, Amharic
I got into woodcarving as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Lemlem
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Lemlem: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
