Lakshmi S. Nair
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Nagpur, Maharashtra, India
- 1991 to 2019
- English
For 28 years I ran the boxing program at Nagpur Athletic Club in Nagpur. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
More about Lakshmi
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Lakshmi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
