Kayode Nnamdi Fashola

21 years teaching home economics in Lagos

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Lagos Public School
  • Since 2018
  • English, Yoruba
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 180 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Kayode

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
